In 2020, our six core scientists published 54 peer-reviewed papers and were cited more than 3300 times.

Published work ranges from the theoretical to the pragmatic. Our scientists have explored perspectives on how culture impacts education, developed frameworks for leading in crisis, and examined lessons from the ‘swarm intelligence’ we see in insects. They have produced translational impact, including enhancing pandemic preparedness through simulation, using electronic health records data to improve assessment, and articulating how residents approach their on-call work.
