Introduction to Research in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry

The Child and Adolescent Division focuses on applied research. All of the core and adjunct faculty are practicing clinicians with a deep understanding of the youth and families they serve.  Topics range from investigating the effectiveness of therapeutic approaches for child and adolescent mental health challenges, to developing comprehensive measurement tools and enhancing our systems of care.

A core strength of our Division is our commitment to collaboration.  Our researchers work closely with partners from Western, local service providers, and Universities and organizations around the globe.  Dr. Jeff Carter serves as the Research Coordinator for the Division.
