Nicole Campbell, PhD, recognized provincially for teaching excellence

Congratulations to Nicole Campbell, PhD, Assistant Professor, who has received a 2020 Teaching Excellence Award from the Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA).

The Teaching Excellence Award recognizes educators who excel at unlocking the potential of Ontario’s young people. “Successfully engaging individuals in the learning experience depends on an instructor's ability to spark students' curiosity and desire to learn,” the organization states on its website. 

Campbell leads the Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences module in the School’s Bachelor of Medical Sciences program. She is focused on designing the curriculum in ways that support students’ personal and professional development and strives to provide individualized education to equip students with the knowledge and compassion to be leaders in their communities.
