Description of Clinical Activities: As the leader of the breast pathology subspecialty team at LHSC and SJHC London, I have an active role as a consultant in breast pathology for the Southwestern Ontario region, and serve as an active member of the Breast Disease Site Group Multidisciplinary Team (LHSC/LRCP).
Research Activities

Description of Research Activities: Research interests focus on the cellular and molecular mechanisms of breast cancer malignancy, including: 1) molecular controls of the early stages of breast cancer progression; 2) factors important in metastasis, in both experimental and clinical settings; and, 3) the role of specific factors, such as the secreted phosphoprotein osteopontin, in the malignancy of breast cancer and other tumours.
