Research Based Graduate Programs in Pathology and One Health

Graduate & Postdoctoral student

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine offers full-time and part-time degrees of Master of Science (MSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).

The graduate program in Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is an integrated research program. Investigation occurs at the molecular, cellular, tissue, whole organism, and clinical levels. As part of the program, you will carry out supervised research in various thematic areas including One Health, cancer, diabetes, transplantation, stem cell biology, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular disease, developmental defects, medical molecular cytogenetics and toxicology.

The goal of the program is to train tomorrow’s researchers, scientists who will make significant original contributions to the global understanding of disease diagnosis and mechanisms. As a graduate of our program, you will be qualified for a diverse set of careers including academia, government, and the pharmaceutical industry.
