Visiting Student Electives

Welcome to the Visiting Elective Program in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University.

All students interested in doing an elective in our program must apply through the AFMC Student Portal. Our department's policy is to accept elective requests from any Canadian undergraduate medical student who is eligible to apply to residency through CaRMS 1st round. Not all dates are necessarily available for electives. Please watch the application deadlines on the AFMC Student Portal carefully and apply as soon as possible, as there are no exceptions.
