Schulich Medicine & Dentistry celebrations to continue on Reunion Weekend (October 1, 2016)
Western University announced this week that in an effort to address a variety of concerns associated with the unsanctioned and unsupervised parties of past years, this year’s Homecoming football game has been moved to Saturday, October 22nd (“Homecoming Saturday”). Previously planned reunion activities and celebrations across campus and at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry will still take place as originally planned on Reunion Weekend (September 30th – October 2nd).
Here at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, we look forward to welcoming you back to the School on Reunion Weekend as we unlock the past and focus on passion, purpose, professionalism and potential — key attributes that have driven our alumni to success in varying ways. A variety of events and activities will be taking place all weekend long offering something for everyone. The Dean’s Distinguished Lecture, Community Lectures, Historic Walking Tour, Reunion Weekend Lunch and the Dentistry Simulation Lab Tours will take place during the day on Saturday, October 1st. The Dean’s Gala, Golden Alumni Cocktail Reception and Dentistry Alumni Cocktail Party will take place on the evening of October 1st.
