Dr. George Klein selected for Diamond Jubilee Medal

Congratulations to Dr. George Klein of the Department of Medicine's Cardiology Division, on being one of 30 Canadian physicians chosen by the Canadian Medical Association (CMA) to receive the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medal.

Dr. Klein was recognized as a pioneer in the field of cardiac electrophysiology. In making the announcement the President of the CMA, Dr. Anna Reid told Dr. Klein, "You have been a recognized research and teaching leader for 30 years and you are loved by all. You have served in leadership roles, and you are a household name in this field around the world."
