Education

The Division is actively involved in education with a large portion of the Department’s formal lectures, seminars, clinical supervision, and educational administrative leadership, being provided by Divisional members (see UGME, PGME, CPD, and Annual Chandarana Review Course) .

Clinical rotations for medical students, residents, and fellows, occur in the locations noted under Clinical Programs / Services. Popular clinical rotations include: general inpatient psychiatry; emergency psychiatry; general and more specialized ambulatory care psychiatry including urgent care, early intervention psychosis and mood/anxiety, eating disorders, psychological trauma, and anxiety disorders; collaborative care; consultation-liaison psychiatry; as well as training/supervision in various psychotherapies, and treating individuals with severe and persistent mental illness.
