Dr. McCurdy completed a Bachelor of Arts and Science at McGill University with a major in Cognitive Science, followed by her medical degree as well as both her general psychiatry residency and her child and adolescent subspecialty training at Western University. Dr. McCurdy works in the outpatient Child and Adolescent Mental Health Care Program and has been the Child & Adolescent Outpatient Services Physician Clinical Lead since 2020. She is also passionate about working with medical students and residents to improve education in child and adolescent mental health. Dr. McCurdy is the coordinator for PGY3 rotations in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is also the Competency by Design lead for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Subspecialty Program.
