Taste of Psychiatry 2026
Please join us for "A Taste of Psychiatry"
This complimentary dinner event for Year 1 & 2 Medical students is being held by
The Department of Psychiatry
and is an opportunity for you to join your fellow students, residents, and consultants
to explore what a career in psychiatry has to offer.
Current psychiatric faculty and residents will share their experience working in psychiatry.
Topics will include their best, worst, and most humorous days, what it's like to be a psychiatry resident, and more!
There will also be a panel following the presentations
that opens the floor for any questions that you may have about a career in psychiatry.
The event will be held on
Tuesday, March 31, 2026
at the Best Western Lamplighter Inn (591 Wellington Rd South) and it begins at 5:30pm.
Please arrive promptly to register and be seated.
A buffet dinner will be available while presentations are ongoing.
Seating is limited to the first 60 registrants, so please RSVP early to Janet Holmes at ugepsychiatry@lhsc.on.ca. With your RSVP, please include any food allergies or dietary restrictions you may have.
