Dr. Jean F. Campbell Summer Research Training Program Fund

This fund will continue to support the summer Research Training Program for students of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Year 3 Clerkship

Dr. Jean F. Campbell Clerkship Scholarship in Obstetrics & Gynaecology

Awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student in the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, at the end of the Year 3 clinical clerkship who, during the Obstetrics & Gynaecology rotation, best exemplifies the Physician roles identified by the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program curriculum objectives. The Clerkship & Electives Committee will provide a short-list of finalists from which the Progression and Awards Committee will select the recipient.

This scholarship was made possible by a gift from the estate of Dr. Jean Fraser Campbell (MD 1933). Jean graduated with her medical degree in 1933 from The University of Western Ontario. Jean served as a Faculty Member in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for many years. She wanted to ensure that students are recognized and rewarded for their dedication, devotion and excellence in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Class of 1951 Frank R. Clegg Memorial Award

Awarded annually to the medical student at the end of the clinical clerkship achieving the best balance of high academic standing and those qualities of compassion and personal commitment generally regarded as essential to fulfilment of a role as a good physician, as judged by the Department of Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Surgery.

Established by the Class of 1951 in memory of Dr. Frank R. Clegg.

Leonard Sutcliffe Memorial Scholarship

Awarded to the student with the highest standing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the end of the clinical clerkship.

Established though a generous bequest from Leonard Sutcliffe.
