Celebrating a Landmark Night for Nephrology at the Department of Medicine Awards of Excellence!
Last night’s Department of Medicine Awards of Excellence ceremony was nothing short of remarkable — a resounding success and an extraordinary sweep for Nephrology.
We are incredibly proud to share that our division was recognized across multiple major categories:
Dr. Faisal Rehman – The GIVER Award
Dr. Dervla Connaughton – Early Career Award for Research
Dr. Peter Blake – Distinguished Clinician Award
Each of these leaders embodies excellence, compassion, and dedication. Their contributions continue to elevate patient care, research, and mentorship within our department and beyond.
In addition, these exceptional colleagues were the only three in the DOM to be promoted to Full Professor this year
