Vision 

We are the Centre for Studies in Family Medicine. Our research transforms the health and care of patients, providers and the population.

Mission

To conduct, foster, disseminate, implement excellent interdisciplinary research in family medicine, primary care, health systems and community health.

We: 

•    Conduct interdisciplinary research in family medicine, primary care, health systems and community health
•    Foster research and interdisciplinary collaborations by the faculty and staff of the Department of Family Medicine
•    Facilitate research training for MClSc and PhD students
•    Support research capacity development for medical students, residents, and other trainees
•    Further the understanding of family medicine practice through research
