Biography: Dr. Myslik is a full-time Emergency Medicine Physician at the London Health Sciences Centre. He graduated from the ER program at Western University and then completed a 1-year point of care ultrasound fellowship at the University of Ottawa. He has taught at both national and international courses and is currently working on his Masters of Medical Education with a focus on developing a competency-based assessment tool for ultrasound. His area of interest also includes TEE, POCUS in Palliative Care, and resuscitative ultrasound.
Dr. Drew Thompson, MD, FRCPC
POCUS Faculty, Associate ProfessorBiography: Dr. Thompson is a full time emergency physician and the local lead of the ED ultrasound program at Western’s ED since 2005. In addition to being a CEUS master instructor, he has lectured extensively on point of care ultrasound and has special interests in quality assurance and resident education.
