Research Day

Resident Research Day (RRD) is an annual event held in the spring by the Division of Emergency Medicine. Here, residents from both the Royal College and CCFP-EM programs present their active research projects. Abstracts are submitted ahead of the day, and scored by a peer review panel. Oral, lightning oral, and poster presentations are awarded based on scores. Royal College residents are expected to present three times during their residency, with the first presentation being a proposal and then presenting two completed projects. CCFP-EM residents will present their work at one research day. A keynote address is delivered by an invited speaker. Presentations are judged by a panel, and awards are presented to the top two presenters from each residency stream.
