Hello,
We've received feedback that the links in our previous email were not functioning properly. We apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused.
High Yield Resources - We want to make sure that you are aware of these resources so here they are again:
Important Developments:
- Schulich EDI-D Events Calendar With our new website, we will also launch our new events calendar, (www.events.westernu.ca/events/schulich-edid/ ) which will be dedicated to promoting EDI-D events taking place throughout campus, for example, Western’s Inaugural Fall Pride Parade or an upcoming seminar in the Department of History entitled “From Rejuvenation to Transgender Revolution: Harry Benjamin and the Origins of Gender-affirming Care” but will also be a place to support any of your department’s EDI-D related events. It will serve as a centralized platform for you to share your EDI-D related events, fostering greater awareness, cooperation, and attendance. By featuring a wide array of events, we aim to create a more inclusive and connected community, where everyone can actively participate in promoting equity, diversity, and inclusion across the School. All submissions should be sent to EDID@schulich.uwo.ca .
- Attached Community of Support Members List In the attachment to this email, you will find the complete list of our Community of Support members. If you would like to request the addition of anyone else, please do not hesitate to inform us via email at EDID@schulich.uwo.ca . Your input and suggestions are highly valued as we continue to strengthen our network and foster a more inclusive and supportive community.
- Quarterly Meetings – We aim to enhance our network and yours through quarterly meetings for those who are interested, recognizing the value of connecting to exchange ideas and insights in the same space. In the upcoming year, we'll organize an optional "meet and greet" session. Please let us know your availability via this Doodle poll link [https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/e39QBmnb] to indicate your preferences. Although attendance is encouraged, it's not mandatory or required for participation in the Community of Support. If there's significant interest, we may explore the possibility of an in-person meeting with refreshments.
We are eager to collaborate with you, and should you have any inquiries or require additional support, please don't hesitate to contact us at EDID@schulich.uwo.ca
Warm regards, |
