Clinical Immunology & Allergy

Clinical Immunology & Allergy Training Program

The Division of Clinical Immunology and Allergy at Western University is involved in the training and education of medical students and residents. Clinical Immunology and Allergy is a certified specialty by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada that encompasses a broad scope of conditions including food allergy, venom allergy, environmental allergy, contact dermatitis, urticaria/angioedema, immunodeficiency, anaphylaxis, and asthma. We see patients of all ages. We use specialized treatments including immunotherapy (including peanut oral immunotherapy) and biologic agents to treat atopic disease.

The Division currently has a general allergy clinic as well as specialized clinics focusing on drug allergy, insect venom allergy, and asthma. Our clinics are at St. Joseph's Hospital in London, Ontario, and we provide inpatient consults at all of the London Hospitals.
