Why BMSc?

Hands-on experience

You'll get hands-on lab experience in your first-year biology, chemistry and physics courses, and start designing your own experiments in your third and fourth years of study.

Research opportunities

Undertake research projects and opportunities in your third and fourth years, as well as summer research opportunities (NSERC USRA, USRI & DUROP) and the Scholar's Electives program.

Breadth and flexibility

Choose to specialize in one of the basic medical sciences, pursue a more interdisciplinary program, or complete a combined BMSc/HBA degree.
