Frequently asked questions

Applying to both Science and Medical Sciences will not negatively impact chances of admission to Medical Sciences:

  • Students select up to three program choices per university on the OUAC application, and these choices can span different faculties.

  • Each application is assessed independently, meaning it is possible to receive separate offers from different programs or faculties, and these offers may arrive at different times.

  • Accepting one offer does not automatically cancel applications to other programs; students should read their offer conditions carefully.

Yes! Students admitted to year 1 of the Science program can still apply to year 3 BMSc via the Competitive Pool
