Announcement: Second iteration of CaRMS results released

On May 12, the results from the second iteration of the 2022 CaRMS match process were released.

The five Schulich Medicine students who entered the second iteration were matched; four to Family Medicine and one to Radiation Oncology. A few students opted to bypass the second iteration and all have accepted other education opportunities for the upcoming academic year.

Overall, after the two iterations, more than 40 per cent of Schulich Medicine students matched to the School’s own postgraduate residency training programs, with the remainder matching to centres from coast-to-coast. And more than half of the students matched to Family Medicine.

All of the School’s postgraduate medical education residency positions have been matched.
