Announcement: Nicole Campbell, PhD, appointed as Director of Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences

I am pleased to share that Nicole Campbell, PhD, has been appointed to Director of Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences (IMS), Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, effective September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2023.

Dr. Campbell will be responsible for overseeing both the undergraduate and graduate level programs, and will lead the launch of the graduate IMS program in May 2021. 

Dr. Campbell received her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Guelph in Biomedical Sciences. Throughout her graduate studies, she obtained numerous teaching experiences, including distance education instruction, course development and course coordination. 

After completing her PhD, she worked as an instructor at various institutions teaching courses in physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology and research methodology. Since joining the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry as an Assistant Professor in 2015, she has held the position of Department Counsellor and taught courses in the undergraduate IMS program.

In recognition of her excellence in teaching, Dr. Campbell has been selected as the Western Experiential Learning Scholar (2020) and the Schulich Teaching Fellow (2018-2022).
