During his 18 months in the role, the School also transitioned to competency-based medical education in several residency programs, completed several accreditation processes, further expanded faculty and learner wellness initiatives, introduced a new admissions process for medicine, began the process to converge aspects of the Public Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics and Family medicine programs, recalibrated fundraising programs, continued the focus on achieving greater equity and diversity, redeveloped infrastructure and strengthened partnerships.

We wish Dr. Cheng well as he continues his clinical practice and research in the areas of health services, health policy and global health.
