Congratulations to Terry Peters, PhD, who was awarded the 2019 Gold medal from The Canadian Organization of Medical Physicists (COMP).

The Gold Medal is the highest award given by COMP and recognizes an active or retired member who has had an outstanding career and has made a significant contribution to the field of medical physics in Canada.

Peters is a Professor at Schulich Medicine & Dentistry and a scientist at Robarts Research Institute. Throughout a career spanning almost 50 years, Peters has made immense contributions to medical imaging and image-guided interventional procedures both Canada-wide and internationally.
