Education Day: Tyu ko tak nahte' yu kwa nute' – Let's move what we know forward
An education session for students from the Doctor of Medicine program at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, London and Windsor campuses, and Law students from Western University.
Featuring Mr. Ry Moran, Director of the National Centre for Truth and Reconciliation, University of Manitoba.
Following the key note presentation with Mr. Moran, students will engage in a Blanket Exercise. Created in 1997, the Blanket Exercise is a succinct overview of Indigenous rights in Canada that explores the major themes and findings of the Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples.
