See the Line
See the Line is a collaborative, 10-year initiative that seeks to educate athletes, coaches, parents and the broader community about the serious impact of concussions. In doing so it aims to shift the culture around concussion in sport, reduce the incidence of concussion and improve care through research.
Western University’s Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry proudly hosts See the Line’s core events on campus annually in August in partnership with faculties at Western including the Faculty of Health Sciences and the Faculty of Engineering, and with the Fowler Kennedy Sports Medicine Clinic and the Concussion Legacy Foundation.
Thank you for attending See the Line
Thank you to all those who attended the See the Line Continuing Medical Education Session and Community Symposium on August 15, 2019. It was a captivating day during which our speakers highlighted the latest in concussion research, education, policy change and prevention. The day concluded with a panel, moderated by CTV/TSN's Rick Westhead, focused on the change in culture needed to achieve a society more accommodating to, aware of and accepting of concussion.
Brainstorm - Straight Talk on Concussion
The afternoon also included a first look at the trailer for our new video series Brainstorm – Straight Talk on Concussion featuring Western University researchers. You can view the trailer below and check out the entire series here.
