Dr. Sandra Northcott is a practicing psychiatrist with the Adult Ambulatory Program at Parkwood Institute Mental Health Care. After graduating from Memorial University in Newfoundland in 1994, Dr. Northcott came to Western to complete her residency in Psychiatry. Dr. Northcott spent 13 years as a consultant psychiatrist with the Prevention and Early Intervention Program for Psychoses (PEPP). In 2015, she moved to St. Joseph's Health Care London. In addition to her interest in treatment resistant schizophrenia, she is also interested in suicide prevention. Since her residency, Dr. Northcott has been actively involved in undergraduate education and is currently the Associate Dean, Learner Experience at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
