Dr. Lodhi has been working in psychiatry since 2000. He completed his MD Psychiatry residency training in 2003 at the Mumbai University. From 2004 till 2007, he was at the Oxford and Bucks Mental Health Trust, U.K, where he completed his MRCPsychiatry. Since then, he has become a Fellow of the Royal College of Psychiatrists, UK (FRCPsychiatry). Dr. Lodhi moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2007 and earned his third post-gradute degree in psychiatry - FRANZCP. After working in Perth, Australia he moved to Edmonton, Canada. From 2014-2018, he successfully completed his PhD in psychopharmcology from the University of Alberta, under the supervision of Dr. Katherine Aitchison and Dr. Scot Purdon. Dr. Lodhi worked as an Assistant Professor in psychiatry at the University of Saskatchewan from 2018 to 2021, before moving to London, Ontario.

Dr. Lodhi has a wide variety of work experience in different psychiatric settings. These include inpatient psychiatry units, psychiatric intensive care unit, crisis team, emergency psychiatry, eating disorders, community outreach and rehabilitation, outpatient psychiatry, therapeutic community for personality disorders, collaborative care with primary care physicians and addiction clinics. Dr. Lodhi has worked as a forensic psychiatrist for 6 months in Western Australia at an inpatient forensic unit and a medium secure prison. He is currently working full time as an outpatient psychiatrist at the Victoria Hospital - in general adult psychiatry, concurrent disorders, ECT and collaborative care.

His research experience and interests include psychopharmacology, addiction, psychiatric genetics, adverse health outcomes and quality improvement. Dr. Lodhi is keen on developing research collaborations with colleagues within and outside psychiatry.
