Profile
Dr. Gilad graduated medical school from Rappaport School of Medicine at the Technion, Haifa, Israel.
He completed a residency in Psychiatry and a residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Brull Mental Health Center, Tel Aviv, Israel, where he practiced adult and child psychiatry. In 2019, he arrived in Canada and completed a 3 year clinical fellowship in sleep medicine and neuropsychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry, Temerty Medical School, University of Toronto.
In his training Dr. Gilad gained knowledge and expertise in psychopharmacology and various psychotherapeutic techniques and protocols. He also gave numerous lectures and seminars to healthcare providers and other audiences, on subjects of mental disorders, psychotherapy, psychopharmacology, emotional education, and sleep medicine.
Dr. Gilad has particular interest in the fields sleep medicine, somatoform and functional disorders. and emotional education as an instrument of primary prevention in mental health.
