Advanced standing program for international dental graduates

Up to 20 seats for graduates of non-accredited dental programs.

Indigenous applicant pathway

Up to 2 seats for applicants who self-identify as First Nations, Métis and Inuit.

International applicant pathway

Up to 4 seats for applicants who are not citizens or permanent residents at the time of application.

Dental Clinician-Scientist

Dental Clinician-Scientist (DCS) is a joint DDS/PhD program for highly motivated students whose career objective is to become productive clinician-scientists in dental research or academic dentistry.

The program consists of a PhD degree in an area of research relevant to dentistry followed by a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.


Applying through a pathway does not guarantee admission to the Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) Program. There are no fixed seats or quotas. 

It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure all documentation is submitted to the appropriate office by the deadlines indicated.

Falsification or misrepresentation of information from any portion of the application will result in removal of the application from consideration.
