The London Regional Transgenic & Gene Targeting Facility (LRTGT) was established in 2003 as a collaborative endeavor between Schulich Medicine & Dentistry, Western University, Lawson Health Research Institute, Robarts Research Institute and the London Regional Cancer Program.

For London based researchers, we rederive and cryopreserve lines for distribution. Towards this end the LRTGT has a mouse embryo/sperm cryobank to replenish or distribute genetic stocks as requested by its users. The LRTGT also provides services to generate genetically modified mice through pronuclear injection as a standard service, and we will undertake gene targeting in ES cells or using CRISPR-Cas9 on a case by case basis.
