We are excited to present the following speakers for Fall 2021:
October 5: Patrick (Pat) Barretto-Burns (Biotechnology)
Patrick (Pat) Barretto-Burns graduated from Western University with a dual major in Microbiology & Immunology and Biology. After graduation, Pat worked in technical scientific sales, followed by research in a GLP/ISO17025-certified facility quantifying the toxicology of nicotine products. He currently works as an Associate Scientist at a start-up biotechnology company called Endogena Therapeutics in Toronto, Ontario, where he is developing polypharmacologic small molecules for the reactivation of endogenous stem cells for regeneration and repair of retinal tissues.
