    Title:A Non-Pharmacologic Approach to Manage Behaviours in Confused Medically Ill Older Adults in Acute Care Non-pharmacological interventions are recommended to manage challenging behaviours among cognitively impaired older adults, however few studies have enrolled patients in acute care. This study aimed to determine the feasibility of implementing non-pharmacological interventions to manage behaviours in hospitalized older adults.

    This prize is awarded to a member of the Division of Geriatric Medicine within the first seven (7) years of their academic appointment who has taken a leadership role in geriatric medical education and who has excellent personal performance in teaching. One award (certificate) is awarded annually. Dr. Bhangu is an active member of Geriatric Medicine residency training committee and has embraced his role as research mentor of the residents in our geriatric medicine core training program. He actively engages learners on clinical rotations and has provided many highly rated lectures and seminars.

Back by popular demand, Dr. Chris Brymer, discussed the "Top Geriatric Papers of 2020" and applied current literature to primary elder care and 2 London Police Service Detectives presented on "Policing Perspectives on Financial Abuse of Older Adults" that sparked much discussion.
