Cancellation Policy

*Cancellation Policy:  There are no refunds or cancellations within 10 business days' written notice prior to the course start date. Notice of cancellation should be made in writing and sent to the CDE email to cde@schulich.uwo.ca. "No shows" will not be eligible for a refund. Course registrations are not transferable.  No Exceptions. Western University reserves the right to cancel courses or switch instructors if deemed necessary due to insufficient registrations, instructor cancellation, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In case of course cancellation, a full refund will be issued. Registrants will be notified at the earliest possible date. Western will not be liable for any loss, damages, or other expenses, such as travel and accommodations, that such cancellations may cause. By attending the course, attendees agree to allow photographing, videotaping or audio-taping that may take place for educational purposes. Live Webinars: It's the participants responsibilty to make sure they check their email for the reminder email sent that includes the Zoom webinar links and instructions provided for the live webinars via Zzoom. No refunds.

Registration Deadline: Registration for all Continuing Dental Education courses close one week prior to the scheduled Course date, unless otherwise posted. Pre-registration for all courses is required

Time of Courses:  Please check your confirmation letter for the start and end times of your course. 

Tuition includes: Continental Breakfast, Breaks & Lunch, unless otherwise posted. 

Limited Attendance Courses:  Certain courses are subject to limited attendance; participants are enrolled on a first come basis. 

RCDSO Category 1 Courses: In order to receive a Letter of Attendance, all registrants must sign in upon arrival, and must sign out at the completion of the course. The letter cannot be obtained after the course date. For Category 1 courses delivered via Zoom webinars, participants must abide by the Category 1- Terms and Conditions.

Lost and Misplaced Receipts and/or Letters of Verification: A $25 administration fee will be charged for each request for duplicates.

Dietary Restrictions: We aim to accommodate all dietary requests, however, catering for groups does have limitations. Vegetarian requests are accommodated and the menu selection may allow for low-carb selections. Participants with further dietary needs may consider bringing their own food. Please ask the CDE team for recommendations at a minimum of seven days prior to the course. We are committed to excellence and serving you well.

Study Credits:  Western Continuing Dental Education courses are approved by the RCDSO for Mandatory Continuing Education Credits. Continuing Dental Education at the Schulich school of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University is also an ADA/CERP recognized provider.
International Participants: If you wish to participate in a Continuing Dental Education course, please obtain your Visa before registration. Documentation will not be provided to obtain a Visa.
