About the Program

Co-developed by the Centre for Education Research & Innovation (CERI) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD), this program empowers physicians and residents (PGY2+) to lead with integrity, resilience, and collaboration.

The course is co-developed and directed by Dr. Jacqueline Torti, Dr. Wael Haddara, and Dr. Nabil Sultan.

This character-based longitudinal leadership course within the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry will follow a multipronged approach including mentorship, reflective-based learning, targeted workshops, small-group discussion and experiential learning. The aim of this course is to develop leadership skills from a character-lens that stress the qualities of good leadership

Course Framework

Leader Character Framework Powered by the Ivey Leader Character Framework

The Leader Charcater Framework was developed by Ivey faculty: Mary Crossan, Gerard Seijts, and Jeffrey Gandz. This framework forms the foundation of the Institute’s research, teaching, and outreach.
