CERI would like to extend an invitation to faculty, residents, medical and graduate students who are interested in education research in the health professions to join us at our 2018 Annual Research Symposium!

Our 2018 keynote is Dr. Kevin Eva. Dr. Kevin Eva is Associate Director and Senior Scientist in the Centre for Health Education Scholarship, and Professor and Director of Educational Research and Scholarship in the Department of Medicine, at the University of British Columbia.  He completed his PhD in Cognitive Psychology (McMaster University) in 2001 and became Editor-in-Chief for the journal Medical Education in 2008. 

Dr. Eva’s talk will explore, “An Editor’s Perspective on the State of Health Professional Education Research.”

During this talk, participants will:

  1. Explore current trends in health professional education research
  2. Discuss how dimensions of research and evaluation are distinct
  3. Develop further understanding about the direction in which the field is heading.
