Together on the Front Lines: The Changing Landscape of PGME Assessment

Building upon the experiences of programs who have launched CBME, this PGME retreat will bring together faculty and residents as allies in assessment. Addressing the dynamics of changing assessment expectations, the day will include a collegial debate, and opportunities to examine key assessment tools and implementation strategies.

Learning Objectives - by the completion of this workshop participants will have

  • identified the challenges and possible solutions for completing EPA assessments
  • reviewed how to give and receive feedback effectively
  • discussed how to support residents and faculty during the transition to CBME

Programs are encouraged to identify a faculty member and a senior resident to attend this workshop.
