The Singh Lab is located within the Medical Science Building of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University and is a part of the Department of Medical Biophysics. Our primary research is focused on cardiovascular pathophysiology in vitro and in vivo. We conduct translational investigation, using from primary cell lines to human patient's samples, and employ biomolecular, histological, and physiological analytical technologies. Our research currently examine endothelial function in vitro and in vivo and how it is affected altered expression of key players such as BRCA2, FABP3, and microRNAs.
Common techniques conducted in our lab include cell culture, generation of tissue-specific knockdown mice, ex vivo experiments and analyzing clinical samples. Our lab currently has 5 trainees and staffs and we are highly active in our research.
