Celebrate the International Day of Immunology by attending The Wars Within – How Microbes Shape our Immune System – April 29

On April 29, several cities across Canada will be celebrating the International Day of Immunology. The CIHR Human Immunology Network (CHIN) is hosting a Café Scientifique event to discuss the immune system, its role in promoting and maintaining health, prevention of infectious disease, and its role in inflammation and chronic disease.

London's event, "The Wars Within - How Microbes Shape our Immune System," will be taking place at The Grand Theatre, located at 471 Richmond St., from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Support and celebrate the International Day of Immunology through learning about your immune system and discussing various aspects of human immunology!

Dr. David Colby, Professor of Medicine, and Microbiology and Immunology at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Acting Medical Officer of Health at the Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit

Dr. David Heinrichs, Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Associate Director of the Centre for Human Immunology

Dr. David Hill, Professor in the Departments of Medicine, Physiology and Paediatrics at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry and Scientific Director of the Lawson Health Research Institute

Dr. Steven Kerfoot, Assistant Professor in the department of Microbiology and Immunology at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry.
