The Dean's Office, at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry has commenced the selection process for the position of Assistant Dean, Admissions effective October 1, 2009. The following is a call for nominations and applications for the position of Assistant Dean, Admissions.

The role of the Assistant Dean, Admissions includes being responsible for the smooth operation of the Admissions process for the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. Reporting to the Vice Dean of Education, the Assistant Dean Admissions will ensure that the policies of the Admissions Committee for the Medical and Dental Program are carried out, and ensure there is a clear and transparent process to adjudicate appeals from applicants to Medicine & Dentistry. The Assistant Dean will also provide representation on and communication to the OMSA, COFM, and AFMC.

We would appreciate your nominations and applications no later then 5:00 p.m. on Friday August 14, 2009. Please address all letters to the attention of Dr. Bertha Garcia, Vice Dean of Education for the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, via e-mail attachment to Candidates will be selected by an Advisory Committee and invited for interview, with recommendation of a preferred candidate for the appointment by the Dean.
