Internationally Sponsored Residency Training

Internationally sponsored residency training at the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry is available to international citizens who are financially supported by a sponsoring agency that has an established sponsorship agreement with Schulich. Sponsorship suppport includes funding for training-related costs and resident salary support at a rate commensurate with the PARO salary scale

Residents train within accredited residency programs while funded through institutional sponsorship agreements. Applications are submitted through sponsoring agencies rather than directly to Western University.
