The Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry’s residency and Area of Focused Competence (AFC) programs undergo regular accreditation review. Programs are assigned an accreditation status and may also receive a required follow-up action based on identified areas for improvement. Follow-up requirements may include the regular accreditation review cycle, an Action Plan Outcomes Report (APOR), or an external review, depending on the nature and significance of findings.
