Transform health care through science and skill
If you're driven by curiosity, inspired by innovation, and committed to advancing science and patient care, take the next step and become a leader at the intersection of research and medicine. The future of health care needs your vision.
MD/PhD

The MD/PhD program selects a few exceptional students with a passion for research and combines this with undergraduate medical training, preparing them to become future leaders in medical research and patient care.
Students admitted into the MD/PhD program train with leading scientists, integrating laboratory work with medical school, compressing the time to obtain both degrees to just seven years.
Oral Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS)

The OMFS program provides students with a comprehensive background for the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery as a specialty, and prepares them for examinations by the Royal College of Dentists of Canada (RCDC).
The OMFS program is six years in duration culminating in a MD/MSc degree. Admittance requires acceptance into each of the OMFS, MD, and Graduate Studies programs.

Please note
Applying to a combined program does not guarantee an offer of admission.
It is the applicant's responsibility to ensure documentation for the MD program is submitted through OMSAS by the application deadline, and documentation for the combined program is submitted according to that program's requirements and deadlines.
Falsification or misrepresentation of information from any portion of the application will result in removal of the application from consideration, and may be considered in any future application to the University.
