Pre-Departure Resources
Pre-Departure Training is a mandatory component of all International & Health Equity Learning opportunities.
Pre-Departure Training and Resources are provided by the Internationalization Office of the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry in collaboration with Western International.
Aspects considered as part of the training may include:
- Ethical considerations
- Cultural competencies
- Language competency
- Personal health and immunization
- Travel safety
Students accepted to participate in an International & Health Equity Learning opportunity will be notified of pre-departure training dates.
