Biography: Dr. Elsayed is Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases (Department of Medicine), Division of Microbiology (Department of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine), and Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics. He holds degrees in Medicine (M.D., Queen's University at Kingston), Public Health-Epidemiology (Harvard University), Healthcare Quality (Queen’s University at Kingston), and Biology (BSc., Western University). He holds certifications in Infectious Diseases, Internal Medicine, and Medical Microbiology from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Elsayed is the Director of the Adult Infectious Diseases Residency Training Program in the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry at Western University.

Biography: Lise Bondy MD, FRCPC Assistant Professor, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry, Western University Dr. Lise Bondy graduated from medical school at the University of British Columbia. She completed her internal medicine and infectious diseases training at the University of Toronto, then completed fellowship training in Hepatology at the Toronto Western Hospital Liver Centre with a focus on viral hepatitis. She is currently an Assistant Professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Western University. Her clinical interests include viral hepatitis, HIV and general infectious diseases. She is an ID consultant for the Hepatitis C Care Team at the London Intercommunity Health Centre and for the Elgin Middlesex Detention Centre. She is the physician lead of the Antimicrobial Stewardship program at Parkwood Hospital. She has an interest in quality improvement and has completed the Certificate in Healthcare Quality through CQUINS.
