Celebrating our achievements

This month, we would like to congratulate the following trainees on their recent accomplishments:

Sarah Svenningsen, PhD Candidate
Congratulations to Sarah Svenningsen, PhD Candidate in the Department of Medical Biophysics, for recently receiving a Canadian Respiratory Research Network (CCRN) PhD Graduate Studentship. Svenningsen currently works with Grace Parraga, PhD, at Robarts Research Institute.

In close partnership with the Canadian Lung Association, the CIHR, and other partners, CCRN aims to improve patient care and outcomes for patients with chronic respiratory disease.

Lori Lowes, PhD Candidate
Lori Lowes, PhD Candidate in Anatomy and Cell Biology is Western University's nominee for the Senior Women Academic Administrators of Canada (SWAAC) 2015 Graduate Student Award of Merit competition. This competition comes to Ontario on a four-year rotation.

Lowes' application is now with SWAAC and candidates with applications in the university review have each been notified of their result.
