Dr. Evelyne Bouthillier

Year 1

Biography: Evelyne grew up in Chelsea, Quebec. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine degree from the Université de Montréal in 2024. She then continued her training by completing a General Practice Residency at the Montreal Children’s Hospital of McGill University, where she provided care to children and adolescents with special needs and complex medical conditions, while also focusing on orthodontics. Evelyne loves outdoor activities, working out, reading and travelling.

Dr. Omolara Obilade

Year 1

Biography: Lara obtained her first dental degree and completed residency training in Orthodontics in Nigeria before migrating to Canada. She subsequently graduated from the Schulich School of Dentistry with honours and worked as a general dentist in London before returning to pursue her passion, Orthodontics! She has a strong commitment to continuous self-improvement in order to be able to give the best to her patients. When she is not working or studying, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and watching movies.

Dr. Kaitlyn Rumbolt

Dr. Kaitlyn Rumbolt

Year 1

Biography: Kaitlyn grew up in Pasadena, Newfoundland, before moving to Halifax to complete a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry (2014) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (2018) at Dalhousie University. During her studies, she received the Chancellor’s Scholarship, the Hugh Graeme Fraser Memorial Prize, and the Dr. Garry Barrett Legacy Fund in recognition of her academic excellence, leadership, and volunteerism. After graduation, she practiced general dentistry in Newfoundland and New Brunswick for seven years, gaining broad clinical experience in patient care. While she greatly enjoyed general practice, her passion for orthodontics led her to pursue specialty training in the Graduate Orthodontics program at Western University. Outside her professional life, Kaitlyn enjoys traveling, reading, live music, and exploring new hiking trails.

Dr. Joseph Adragna

Dr. Joseph Adragna

Year 2

Biography: Dr. Joseph Adragna grew up in Woodbridge, Ontario. After graduating from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, Behaviour, and Psychology, he attended New York University College of Dentistry. It was here that he got his Doctorate of Dental Surgery Degree. Dr. Adragna distinguished himself in dental school when he won the Benjamin Nevin Scholarship Award due to his outstanding academic performance and involvement in the community. Additionally, he was awarded membership to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, offered only to dentists who score in the top 10% of their classes. Dr. Adragna has a huge passion for dentistry and has traveled around the nation pursuing advanced training in multiple disciplines of dentistry. After practicing general dentistry for several years, Dr. Adragna discovered his passion for Orthodontics and has come to Western to learn from the best in the field. Outside of dentistry his many passions keep him busy involving gardening, reading, cycling, and snowboarding. A big pleasure in his life includes fishing up north and the smell of the barbeque after surviving a cold Canadian winter.

Dr. Cassandra Garrison

Dr. Cassandra Garrison

Year 2

Biography: Cassie grew up Kindersley, Saskatchewan. She attended the University of Saskatchewan to obtain her BSc in Physiology and Pharmacology in 2015 and her DMD in 2019. Upon graduation from dental school, Cassie worked in private practice in Saskatoon for five years. During her time in private practice, she prioritized continuing education and graduated from the Kois Center in 2024. Cassie is thrilled to be pursing her interest in Orthodontics at Western University. In her spare time she enjoys working out, travelling, and spending time with her nephew.

Dr. Aoife Hutchinson

Dr. Aoife Hutchinson

Year 2

Biography: Aoife hails from County Derry in Ireland and qualified as a dentist from Trinity College, Dublin in 2020. During her time in Trinity, she volunteered in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania where she provided dental treatment for the local population. Following on from graduation, Aoife worked in general practice in different areas of Ireland before taking on a full-time role in a Specialist Paediatric and Orthodontic clinic in Dublin. This allowed Aoife to further develop her interest in Orthodontics and has been key factor in her decision to pursue post graduate Orthodontics. In her spare time, Aoife enjoys working out, cooking and spending time with her dog, Gizmo.

Dr. Laura  Atkinson

Dr. Laura Atkinson

Year 3

Biography: Laura is from New Zealand and received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (with distinction) from the University of Otago in 2012. Upon graduation she gained invaluable experience as a Dental House Officer with the Maxillofacial Surgery team in three Auckland hospitals. Laura spent ten years practicing dentistry between NZ and Ontario, including time in Nunavut providing care to remote Inuit communities. Prior to specializing, Laura worked as a Professional Practice Fellow at the University of Otago providing instruction in restorative dentistry. Laura is thrilled to be back in school pursuing her dream of becoming an orthodontist. When she is not studying, Laura is hiking with her family, playing with her two young daughters, or planning her next travel adventure.

Dr. Donna Ensan

Year 3

Biography: Donna received her Honours Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHSc) from the University of Ottawa. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Toronto in 2021 and continued her training by completing a one-year general practice residency (GPR) at NYU Langone in New York City, where she was able to hone her skills in dentistry. She worked in private practice in Toronto for a year before pursuing her passion for orthodontics. In her spare time, Donna loves cooking , travelling the world, and spending time with her dog, Gucci!

Dr. Arezoo  Ensafi

Dr. Arezoo Ensafi

Year 3

Biography: Arezoo is from Toronto where she completed her Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto. She then pursued her childhood dream of becoming a dentist by receiving her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Western University. After working in private practice in Alberta & Ontario for two years, Arezoo decided to return to Western University to pursue Orthodontics. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, baking and staying active.
