Dr. Tristan Boyd is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Western University. After graduating from St. George’s University with a Doctorate in Medicine (2009), he completed residency training in Internal Medicine (2012) and a fellowship in Rheumatology (2014) at Western University. He completed a postgraduate research scholarship at the University of California, San Diego (2014-2015) with a focus on innovative strategies for the treatment of patients with psoriatic arthritis. He is a member of the International Psoriasis and Arthritis Research Team (IPART) and the SpondyloArthritis Research Consortium of Canada (SPARCC). His areas of interest include psoriatic arthritis and rheumatic diseases in Aboriginal populations. He is currently the CBME lead and Curriculum Coordinator for Western’s Postgraduate Rheumatology Program.
