Registration Fee Refund

Learn when and how to submit a request for a prorated refund of the PGME Registration fee.
Refund requests:
  • Can only be submitted after your training is complete
  • Must be submitted within one month of your last day of training
Example: If your training ends on July 31, you must submit your request between August 1 and August 31.

⚠️ Requests submitted after the one-month window will not be accepted.
  • The PGME Registration fee applies to the academic year of July 1 to June 30.
  • Retroactive refunds are not permitted.
  • Refund amount is prorated based on the number of months of training completed in the academic year in which you paid the fee.
Example:
If training runs from October 1, 2026 to September 30, 2027:
  • You may receive a refund for October 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027
  • You are not eligible for a refund for July 1, 2027 to September 30, 2027
  • Refunds are issued to the original credit card used for payment
  • Cash or cheque refunds are not available
  • Refunds are processed within 2 weeks of receiving a request form
  • Partial months are not eligible for refunds
