Resumption of International travel for Western and Schulich students
On October 21, 2021, the Government of Canada lifted the global travel advisory that was previously in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Given this change, Western is pleased to resume international university-sanctioned student travel effective immediately.
Students will no longer be required to complete the Special Authorization to Travel form to proceed with their international experience, except in cases where the travel destination is under an official travel advisory issued by Global Affairs Canada.
